After successful cleaning of the ductwork, the procedure is completed with a duct sealant encapsulation process (Internally insulated ductwork only). When sprayed or fogged on duct interiors, the sealant dries and shrinks to form a new finish in the duct interiors. Treatments in fire restoration helps reduce interior maintenance by sealing particulate soot not removed by mechanical cleaning.
